Irish Network Upgrades
Posted by Greg M on 14 February 2015 11:21 AM

Our network team are will be preparing our Irish network for a major upgrade. Work will begin this weekend and end on Monday. We then plan to complete works on the 23rd/24th Feb 2015.

We realise there's a number of sporting events on this weekend and this could cause some issues for our Irish subscribers. To avoid any issues during these events we highly recommend you login to our website and move your subscription to a UK VPN or Proxy and watch your sporting event live on BBC iPlayer - Http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer

You won’t need to re setup your VPN or Proxy, just make the switch on our website and connect as normal.

We apologise for any issues you may have this weekend however the maintenance is critical to make our Irish products as robust as possible.

Our support team are here 7 days a week to help so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch via http://helpdesk.scothosts.com

Boxing Day Outage
Posted by Eddie Gibbs on 26 December 2014 09:30 AM

At 1am approximately on Friday 26h December there was localised routing issue in the UK which effected several of our VPN servers. Regretably during this period some customers would have been unable to access their VPN service.

We worked from early this morning to re-reoute around the problem and believe that the issue will no longer be effecting any customers and full access to your VPN should be restored.

We apologise for any inconvenience at what we appreciate is a busy time for internet use and video streaming in particular.

If you are still having issues connecting then please create a support ticket on our help desk at http://helpdesk.scothosts.com/index.php?/ukp/Tickets/Submit
