The Dublin area was affected by periodic telecom routing problems on Saturday 6th Feb 2010.
This issue has now been resolved and these routing issues were completely outside our direct control.
We understand they affected connections too and from our Irish Proxy server for some international users outside Ireland. The data centre and telecom provider were immediately aware of this issue and managed to resolve the connection issues within around 90 minutes.
Please be advised telecom routing issues in Dublin are very rare indeed and this is not a reflection of what is normally a very reliable Irish telecom infrastructure.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but assure you the matter was completely outside our control.
